Tearing down an Altec-Lansing IM600 speaker system. I bought 2 that were broken (1 had a bad speaker, the other did not power up), and tore up one to repair the other. I found out later that the charger didn’t work on the “keeper” which is why I continued to tear-down the broken one. This video shows what I did to open it up and take it apart. I replaced a bad speaker in my keeper from the non-functioning one. As I said in the video, be responsible for your own equipment, and be safe. The one I used in the video is already broken, so I can scratch or dent it with no regrets.

My daughters gen 3 is perfecrt, my gen 4 is sometimes not 100% "connect and listen" . Will not charge the Ipod if not connected to the power. But all in all sounds really nice, crisp and good bass.
