With its 17.3 inch LCD it is definitely a large multimedia desktop replacement laptop and thanks to a host of new additions it can certainly pull its load a whole lot better than its previous version.
Powered by an Intel Core i5 the HP Pavilion Dv7t can handle almost everything from office applications to mid-range gaming. Instead of the normal integrated graphics the new laptop now offers an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT discrete graphics card which can even play the latest 3D first person shooters. The laptop is very stable thanks to up to 8GB of memory while HP has also included a lot of extra space with a 640GB hard disk drive.
